About This Center

The hiTHEK Historical Intelligence Center is a scientific initiative of the THEK Research Institute, directed by M.Sc. (TUM) Marcelo Moncayo Theurer. It integrates long-term observational records from the world's leading scientific agencies — SILSO/SIDC, NOAA, NASA, USGS, WDC Kyoto, WMO, NSIDC — into a unified planetary monitoring and research platform. The seismic energy release series is computed using the SERRA Method (Seismic Energy Release Risk Assessment), an original framework developed by M.Sc. (TUM) Marcelo Moncayo Theurer, published under DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20576713. All index series are updated automatically at intervals appropriate to each data source.
